15 Week OB Appt.

I had an OB appt. today at 15 weeks. All in all it went well.

I have a gained a pound. (GASP! lol)

The baby's HB was 158. It seems to always be in the 150's, Juls was in the 170's. Hmmm?

My uterus has moved forward so no surgery. YEAH!!!

She has ok'd me for travel. She's not to thrilled, but she said it was fine and gave me a checklist. She doesn't like ANY of her patients traveling when pregnant. Not just her high risk ones.

She is sending me to the heart doctor which I was afraid of. With Juls I had an elevated heart rate and some heart palpatations, so they put me on some heart meds. Well it has started again. No where near as bad with Juls, but it is still early and she wants to catch it now. It's really no big deal. Just means zero caffeine for me which is so not fair to ask of a pregnant woman, but I did it once, I can do it again.

She is also concerned about some back pains I have been having. We bought a new computer chair to see if that helps. If not, she wants to send me to a back guy to look for a slipped disc. No clue. Only time will tell I guess.

The great news is... I have not really been feeling pregnant. After the last u/s alot of my worry went away so I thought I would start getting excited. Nope. It's not that I haven't accepted it, I guess just the lack of symptoms and the last m/c, I just haven't fully realized I am pregnant. So in an effort to help me make this seem more real, she has moved my BIG u/s up two weeks. Woohoo. So I go in three weeks instead of five to see our little Boo again and to find out the sex. Maybe once I know the sex and start calling it by name and start painting and shopping, I might come to realize I truely am pregnant. Does that make sense?

So all in all, I am coming along just fine. My clothes are getting tight, but I can still wear them. I have worn maternity on occassion just cause they are comfy. lol I think it's not long before I will be wearing them all the time.

3 weeks till the BIG ultrasound.
