Poor Steven
We have had a heck of a week. Steve has been wonderful through it all. Especially at the hospital. My husband had a horrible accident in HS and has a plate in his head. So he has this fear of hospitals and anything to do with them. So he has been such a trooper this week.
Well this morning he thought he would stay home and get Juls ready for school and take her, then go to work for a few hours and let me rest, and then pick her up from school and come home. So I slept in till 8 (woohoo). When I got up he had already fed her and packed her lunch and was about to get her dressed.
So I took over getting her dressed so he could shower. I went in to peek and see what he packed for lunch. Silly silly daddy. He packed some raisins, mandrin oranges, Grape fruit snacks, and some cheese and crackers. That's it. All "snacks". No main item.
So I go back to put some sunscreen on Juls because it is splash day at school. As I am doing this, she throws up. Hmmm.
"Honey, what did you give Julia for breakfast?".
"Some of those frozen waffles and some yogurt."
"Did you check the date on the yogurt?"
"No."
Guess what? He fed her bad yogurt. So she has now thrown up three times this morning and is currently asleep in her bed. No splash day for her. Her first missed day of school.
Gotta love my husband. He meant well. Poor Juls. I think she got all the yogurt out now, will sleep it off and be fine in a few hours.
What a week!
