Irony
As you all know my cousin's son is fighting for his life.
Well I got the sad news that another cousin just lost their son. I am not sure how far along they were. Far enough to know that their baby was a boy. It appears he got his umbilical cord wrapped around his legs and it cut off the circulation eventually killing him. She had to give birth to him last week. I am not very close to this cousin, but I am very sad for their loss.
Isn't it ironic how one child is alive but fighting for his life and another never even got the chance? How does this happen? Who gets to decide this? Who am I to question it?
I am not a religious person. I do believe in a higher being, but I am not sure what the higher power is. I do know when it comes to unexpected deaths, I have so many questions.
It's late and I am sad and not making much sense. I am going to go to bed.
