This is my new ride. Well, it will be for the day on Friday while we do sightseeing in DC. LOL Steve rented it for me so we can go see all the monuments and such in DC. I am excited to be going, just frustrated about my foot. This scooter will be interesting. Better then crutches I guess.

Tomorrow night is the Big Dinner for Steve. I get to meet a bunch of his co-workers from across the country. The Big Wigs. I am nervous but so happy for him.

And thanks to the internet and friends, Ruhiyyih will be watching Keira for us in our hotel room while we go to this dinner. How do I know Ruhiyyih? My GF Jess who use to live in VA knows her from her great Blog. Rachael is Jess' sister who also knows Ruhiyyih. Jess and Rachel finally got to meet R at Hannah's Funeral. Jess introduced me to Ruhiyyih and she has agreed to come to the hotel to watch Keira for me. This is a great situation for us. I am excited to meet her in person. What a small world the internet is.

I have never been to DC. Steve has only been for business. So we are really looking forward to seeing all the historical sites and famous places. I will be taking lots of pictures.
