Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We took a day trip south to a small town just north of Austin to see Steven's family. We went to his Aunt and Uncle's house which is just gorgeous. It is around 150 years old on some acreage. They have some animals that the girls love feeding. They even went out for a walk and came home with a goat. A new animal. But luckily it had tags and they were able to find the 12 year old owner. LOL

Lots of great food and wonderful company. I am very blessed to have such a great group of in-laws. I missed my family back home, but Stevens family made me feel like I WAS right at home with them.

There was a small (HA, nothing is small when it comes to drama and Julia) incident with splinters that I think everyone will remember for years to come. Man that girl can wail. And we got to meet the newest addition to the family, Elpi. Hansen has proposed and she has accepted. So there is a wedding in our future. She is from Cypress and lived in San Jose, CA (my home town) for awhile. So we had a lot to talk about. She seemed to fit in just fine.

Here is apicture of our gathering. Can you see me? And look how my cute little girls all match. LOL

I am so Thankful this year. Lots of things have come into persepective.

I am Thankful for healthy children.

I am Thankful for the wonderful man who asked me to marry him 5 years ago.

I am Thankful my In-laws who have taken me in as one of their own.

I am Thankful for my family back home.

I am Thankful for all the great friends I have made.

I am Thankful for Steven's job that supports us.

I am Thankful for the cold weather that has finally arrived.

I am Thankful for the Internet. I have learned so much through this computer.

Compliment Jar

Julia - You did such a good job taking care of Sevina in the back seat for the long drive. Letting us know when she needed us and makeing her laugh and keeping her occupied.

Sevina - You were on your best behavior today. You were in a new home with lots of things to get into and you didn't (for the most part). You listened to us and still had a great time.

Keira - You napped in a new and unfamiliar place. You only spit up on me leaving everyone else clean and dry. And you let all those strangers hold you. You did great today.
