The Cast Is Off
Woohoo. I had a post op appt. today and I got the hard cast off. Now I have an ace bandage, 5 stitches (I think only 5) and a sandal/boot. I get the stitches out next week.

This is my first time seeing it and I have to say, it looks gross. So I haven't been able to look at it long enough to count the stitches exactly. It is so funny, if this was someone else's foot I could probably stare at it all day. But because it is my own foot, makes me want to throw up.
I have lost a lot of feeling in two of my toes. Not sure how much I lost in my foot.
I also have some bruising on my leg from the tournaquet. I asked the doc what it was from and that is what he is guessing as that is where it was.

That didn't look nearly as bad as I thought, in fact it looks pretty good! Glad to hear the cast is off and wishing you a speedy recovery!
